What are you thankful for?
In this session, we are going to learn about gratitude and explore different ways to express our thanks: some people give hugs, some people use their words, others give gifts. Taking time to think about what we're grateful for is really important. So, we're going to create something called a heart map, which we'll use to illustrate all the ways our heart expands to hold the people and places we love.
Saying thank you is another way of saying "I really appreciate you.
Sometimes it can be difficult to see and recognize all the wonderful people and things in our lives.
Taking time each day to think about who you’re thankful for and why you're thankful for them can actually make us happier and even healthier people!
The things we’re grateful for don’t have to be big, they can be small too, like the feel of sand underneath your toes or the smell of baking cookies!
