There are so many benefits of mindfulness, both inside and outside of a classroom. Scientists have discovered that when we practice mindfulness, we are better able to pay attention to our teachers and friends, we are less stressed, and we are even more optimistic! So, we're going to learn mindfulness by creating art! And the art projects we’ll be working on together will help us learn to focus on our breathing and identify the many feelings we may be experiencing! We’ll also work to strengthen our self-expression and creativity by creating art that celebrates who we are and what we’re capable of achieving.
